☂️🌂 Rain or Shine we RISE UP: Please wear Purple…. we would LOVE to RISE as a SEA of PURPLE.
🟪 Purple is a nationally recognized color for domestic violence awareness, symbolizing courage, peace, survival, and a commitment to ending violence.
Danielle Stovall is the founder of Take Your Wings & RISE, LLC and co-collaborator of the RISE UP Against Domestic Violence March and the Rise Up Cultural Movement in Seattle. A survivor of both family and intimate partner violence, Danielle has transformed deep pain into profound purpose. After 20 years as a hairstylist and heart listener, she now dedicates her life to healing, advocacy, and community transformation. Through her work, she creates sacred, empowering spaces where truth, love, and action unite — bridging personal healing with collective liberation. Guided by unwavering faith, resilience, and the power of community, Danielle’s mission is to amplify survivor voices, influence systemic change, and remind the world that through even the darkest chapters, we can rise again — together. Her story is one of grace, grit, and rebirth — a living testament to the light that emerges when we choose to heal.
Juá is a self-taught musician, model, mentor, and cultural leader whose artistry bridges music, healing, and activism. Raised in a Caribbean household in Florida, she found refuge in music at an early age, and after losing her best friend Justin to gun violence at 14, music became her lifeline—expression, survival, and transformation. A proud alum of The Residency, she now creates, performs, and mentors in Seattle, co-leading the RISE UP Cultural Movement and March. With a sound reminiscent of Billie Holiday and Etta James, yet infused with hip hop and soul, Juá’s music carries medicine—healing, timeless, and unforgettable.
